Howard Buescher has been a Director of the Company since its inception in 1985 and serves as the Company’s Chairman of the Board. Mr. Buescher has over 42 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, including 21 years of service in various capacities with Ryan Homes—a national homebuilder. He is the father of Keith, Scott, and Jack Buescher, Susan Girard and Linda Swain.
Keith Buescher has been a Director of the Company since its inception in 1985 and serves as President of Corporate Operations. Mr. Buescher has over 26 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. He obtained his degree in Economics from Northeastern University.
Scott Buescher has been a Director of the Company since its inception in 1985 and serves as President of Construction Operations and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Buescher has over 24 years of experience in the homebuilding industry and received his B.S. in Business from Edinboro University. He has spearheaded industry innovation efforts in the area of quality home building techniques and hurricane-resistant construction technology. He heads the Company’s Charitable Contributions Committee, which directs corporate charitable outreach and guides the donations made within the markets served by Mercedes Homes.
Susan Girard has been a Director of the Company since its inception in 1985 and serves as President of Sales and Marketing. Ms. Girard has over 22 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. She obtained her degree in Economics from the University of South Florida. Susan Girard is also responsible for land acquisition as well as product design and development.
Linda Swain has been a Director of the Company since its inception in 1985 and serves as President of West Florida Operations. Ms. Swain has over 22 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. She obtained her degree in Education from Kent State.
Jack Buescher has been a Director of the Company since its inception in 1985 and is currently serving as the company’s President of Northwest Florida Operations. Mr. Buescher has over 20 years of experience in the homebuilding industry. He received his B.S. in Marketing from Clarion University.
